Wood/Veneer:
Solid wood is just that, solid wood. Each piece is
glued up to make the appropriate size for your carving.
Veneer core MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) is an
engineered wood product. It comes in 4 X 8 sheets, ready
to use, thus making it a more affordable product. The
biggest difference between the two is not what is on the
surface, but what’s on the inside. With solid wood you
are able to see the natural grain of the wood through
the stain. With the MDF core, there is no wood grain so
the carved portions have more of a solid color
appearance. Below are samples of each.

Wood Choices:
The solid wood carvings come standard in 3 choices of
wood: Cherry, Oak and Rustic Maple. The Veneer MDF core
carvings come standard in 2 choices of wood: Cherry and
Oak. Below are samples of the wood specie choices.
Lake Color:
You have a choice of the finish of your lake bottom
too. You can choose a dark brown stain that matches the
text on your carving or a blue stain that simulates the
true natural beauty of your lake

Other Information:
Each carving includes the name of the lake, the
county and state it is located in and the area of
the lake in acres.
Exterior wood signs are also available. Enhance
